was born in Munich and studied with Prof. Conradin Brotbek in Stuttgart, with Prof. Michael Sanderling in Frankfurt a. Main and with Prof. Eberhard Feltz in Berlin.

 

Bettina Kessler has won several prizes at national and international competitions for solo and chamber music.

 

She is a scholarship holder of the DAAD, the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, the Peter Pirazzi Foundation and the PE-Förderungen Mannheim.

 

In the 2013/ 2014 season she was an intern with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne. Furthermore, Bettina Kessler played on a temporary contract in the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra, the WDR Orchestra Cologne and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.

 

The cellist has been a guest at numerous festivals such as the Klassikfestival Mecklenburg Vorpommern, the Rheingau Music Festival and the Music Festival of the International Bach Academy Stuttgart.

 

She attended master classes with Prof. Svane, Prof. Boettcher, Prof. Feltz and Prof. Buchberger, among others.

 

In the summer semester 2019 Bettina Kessler was assistant to Prof. Tim Vogler at the HfMDK in Frankfurt a. Main.
